Benevolent fund of war veterans
Eleemosynary organization is the "Benevolent fund of war veterans (participants of war, battle actions and war invalids) "Veteran” it is created in 1997 year. On a today's day the members of fund are more than 20000 persons. A fund constantly extends the activity and already for today has representatives in 14 areas of Ukraine and to Norway, Sweden, Russia, Canada, Spain, Australia, Denmark. Primary purposes and tasks of Fund are creation of workplaces for the citizens of Ukraine, them social defence and grant of eleemosynary help children-orphans, to the "children-street”, of scanty means and having many children , invalids and seriously sick veterans of war and participants of battle actions, pensionaries, people, which suffered from natural calamities and to other deprived of one's share layers of population. The purpose of fund is a grant of financial and financial help war veterans 1941-145 years, to the invalids, veterans of labour, having many children monogynopaediums and all littleprotected layers of population, which are directed on the improvement of socio-economic position. Also assistance development of science, education, realization, scientifically educational programs. Assistance development of culture, in a that number realization of the programs of national-culture development. For two last years BF "Veteran” gave help to about 50 000 persons on a lump sum more than 500000 dol., and also rendered a having a special purpose eleemosynary help people which need an invalid technique (carriage, walkers, and others like that), a fund renders a feasible help children, patients with, a cerebral paralysis. Constantly give help to organizations. For today Fund has the numeral Governmental rewards and sincere Gratitude from the thousand citizens of Ukraine.
